Dr. Sara Fried (she/her/hers) is currently practicing in the Main Line area and online. She spent her undergraduate career at the University of Pittsburgh focusing on Applied Developmental Psychology with a minor in Dance. After gaining meaningful field experience in Allegheny County, Dr. Fried began her doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2015 where she obtained her graduate degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology with a focus on Psychological Assessment from Chestnut Hill College, Philadelphia.

During her graduate education, Dr. Fried developed special interests in trauma work and neuropsychological testing. Dr. Fried was a psychoanalytic fellow for the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia (PCOP) where she focused on the importance of attachment. Dr. Fried was a graduate board member of Philadelphia Society of Psychoanalytic Psychology. She earned her Perinatal Mental Health Certificate from Postpartum Support International. She was awarded the Thomas Klee Psychodynamic Award in 2019 for her dedication to studying psychodynamic psychology.

Dr. Fried enjoys being a life-long learner and constantly strives to be up-to-date with current research and practices.

Dr Fried is a partner with the Unite for HER nonprofit- providing free services to those with breast and ovarian cancer.

Outside of the office, Dr. Fried loves being in nature, creating fiber art, and spending time with others.
